Hannah & Rob’s April wedding day at the stunning Cissbury Barns, set in the South Downs National Park was just a delight! I joined Hannah and her wedding party at her family home nearby, while preparations were underway with the expert help of Danielle from The Makeover Box. I then hopped on ahead to Cissbury to meet Rob and his groomsmen, for a few pre-shots of them together. After the bride arrived, their ceremony was held in the East Barn, decorated with fresh spring flowers by Bunches of Sussex. Once they had said their “I Do’s” the guests lined up for confetti throwing along the path to the courtyard, where drinks & canapés were served. We took some relaxed wedding party & family group shots in the garden and then H&R had a little wander around the grounds for a some beautiful couple portraits.

Their wedding breakfast was held in the West Barn which has a canopy of fairy lights to enchance its local flint and wood interior… delicious food supplied by Ren’s Kitchen.

We took another little window of opportunity for some evening couple shots in the last light of the day, as H&R took a stroll down the path, having some precious moments together before their partying kicked off with music from the fabulous Stick It On entertainment.

Their day was total celebration of Hannah & Rob’s love and joy in embarking on their new life together, surrounded by great friends and family.

Cissbury is a photographer’s dream venue with the option of having a ceremony inside the East Barn or outdoors in The Glade. It is surrounded by glorious countryside and view out towards the coast. I am lucky to have been a recommended photographer there for the past 5 years and have shot a range of both indoor and outside weddings there.
